i had a pretty good day todaywhat should have just been a catching-up lunch with a cousin i hadn't seen for a long time
turned into lunch then tea then shopping
can you believe we sat at the restaurant from 12+ to about 4+, 5pm?
but now i have to come back to reality
the reality that i have an assignment due at 9pm tomorrow night
and i have only done a teeny fraction of it
which means i'm going to have to burn midnight/morning/afternoon and evening oil to get it done
after that..
FREEDOM!!!!
until the exams start 2 weeks later.

this absolutely sucks.at this very moment,
i hate/abhor/detest assignments
especially when all projects this semester are individual.
several times within this same month and i faced with the dilemma
where i want to start on a project but all i can do is type a few words
and then just stare blankly at the screen
totally uninspired at all.
once in a while is not too bad,
but 3 times within a month?!
i think 90% of the population in my brain's been fried
i must be getting stupider if not why the frequent mental blocks?

this is a wee bit belated/outdated/latebut better late than never yea?

on monday night my baby was out having supper with his friend at newton square
so in the midst of our smsing each other, i casually said.
"wah, i also want. da bao back for me!!" (i can't remember exactly what i typed but it's somewhere along those lines"
although i was actually hungry at the time,
i only meant it as a casual remark cos i didn't want to trouble him nor did i think he'd want to cos it was getting late.
but he actually replied that he would and asked me what i wanted to eat
i was actually craving for kitchener road's scissors cut curry rice,
but i didn't want to make him go all the way there since he was already at newton,
so i just said whatever's convinient for him like fried rice?
and then he replied asking if there's anything in particular i wanted
again i said anything would be fine. (liar!! in my mind and stomach i was still craving curry rice)
then he replied me "i know what to get for you already" and when i asked what it was, he refused to tell me.
so after an hour or so,
he sms's me saying he's at my door with my supper
and guess what he bought me?
the curry rice from kitchener road!!

finally a free free free day.okay, it shouldn't be actually since i still have one more assignment due on tues
but i need my leisure time.
past 2 weeks have been busy either rushing projects, visiting my dad at the hospital or emo-ing over quarrels with sx all while still attending to my other obligations like friends and family
i've also gotten myself a new phone!
what a helluva time.
looking forward to these next few days,
esp weekends.
gonna see the bf later
and then tmr and sat as well. (recently he's suddenly had this revelation that he doesn't have to work so hard and instead should spend more time with me so for the past 2 weekends he's been spending his free time with me)
