there's a huge-ass table in my room now which takes up alot of space..
and caused me to have to clean up my room abit..
on the bright side, it's a wee bit more organized now..
there's a bbq tonight on the occassion of it being roger's, jeslyn's and serene's last month in the company..
and they didn't invite any of us more senior part-timers..
but jeslyn did invite esmond..
like what the..
oh wells, people will be people..
a colleague told me even more shocking news yesterday during work..
that "the old ah beng" is officially together with one of our interns and they are very open about their r'ship in front of our colleagues..
she even mentioned that luckily i had not fallen for his "tricks", which came as another shock to me.. (i thought only 2-3 people knew about that)
firstly i thought that "the old beng" was devoted to a certain "butterfly"..
he'd been going after her for so long, way before i joined the company..
then suddenly i get a confession from him in the beginning of this year..
i thought it was a joke since the age gap between us is way too big, i'm already attached and he has a daughter for christ sake..
he made himself seem so serious about it but after a few weeks he gave up probably since i showed no interest at all..
then he went back to being devoted to his "butterfly"..
and what do you know, all of a sudden he's with someone else..
i'm quite disappointed in his actions as a person..
it's like he's been going after the butterfly all along but along the way he tries his luck with other girls along the way..
i actually feel sorry for the butterfly..
she may not have liked him enough to want to be his girlfriend but i'm sure she must have felt so cheated..
like this guy claims you're the one for him and it'll always be you, then he suddenly gets together with another who he doesn't even know for that long or well..
he was probably even trying to play me before..
so now i am very disgusted with the whole thing..
people really are not what they seem to be..
that's why i hardly trust anyone..
you never know when they'll take a knife and stab it in your back or worse still, your heart..
i have the scars as proof..
